About SleepMonk
SleepMonk exists to make sleep science measurable and useful, starting with people in India, where short sleep is common and sleep science is rarely explained in plain language.
Founder
Arpita Kulkarni is a neurotech researcher at BNM Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Her PhD research focuses on NeuroCap, an EEG and PPG wearable for AI-driven sleep-quality enhancement. She guides student teams building EEG, EMG and PPG prototypes and works with industry on neurotech skill development.
