NeuroCap: an EEG + PPG sleep wearable
Most sleep trackers guess your sleep stages from your wrist. NeuroCap reads the brain directly, and pairs it with heart signals and AI to measure, and eventually help improve, sleep quality.
Join the waitlistEEG
Dry-electrode brainwave sensing to capture N2 spindles, N3 slow waves and REM, the signals sleep stages are defined by.
PPG
Heart rate and heart-rate variability to add autonomic context: stress, recovery and breathing patterns.
AI
Models that learn your personal sleep pattern and turn nightly data into one clear insight, not a wall of charts.
Why we are building it
NeuroCap grows out of PhD research at BNM Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, on AI-driven sleep-quality enhancement using wearable EEG and PPG. Learn the science in EEG vs smartwatch sleep tracking and sleep stages explained.
Questions
When will NeuroCap be available?
NeuroCap is in research and development. Waitlist members get build updates first and will be invited to early pilot testing.
How is NeuroCap different from a smartwatch?
Smartwatches estimate sleep from wrist heart rate and movement. NeuroCap measures brainwaves (EEG) directly, alongside PPG, which is how sleep stages are defined clinically.
Is NeuroCap a medical device?
Not at this stage. It is a research wearable for sleep-quality insight. Any medical claims would require regulatory approval first.
